At the Design Academy Aruba, you will discover the power of illustration within the field of Media Design. In this specialization, you will learn how to bring stories to life through bold and creative visuals that capture attention and communicate effectively.
You will develop your skills in drawing, illustration, painting, and visual storytelling while experimenting with a variety of printmaking and printing techniques. From concept to final design, you will create illustrations that enhance, strengthen, and give character to texts, publications, and media projects.
In addition to traditional drawing and illustration techniques, you will gain a solid foundation in graphic design and learn to work with industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. These digital skills will enable you to create professional layouts, digital artwork, publications, and visual communication projects.
This specialization forms the foundation for becoming a skilled illustrator. Whether you aspire to create book illustrations, cartoons, editorial illustrations, print illustrations, character designs, or other forms of visual storytelling, you will develop the artistic and technical skills needed to bring your ideas to life.
